Manufacturing and Assembly back in the U.S. - Why not look at Detroit?

That's what I'm talking about...Detroit is in a unique position when compared to other failing cities. It has major teams in all of the pro sports, has many structures already built, near canada, major airport, public transit, easy to trade.
shyt is no brainer...I know many of you guys can get a loan for 20K and buy a property or 2. I am literally in the process of dumping some domains to get a property out there right now.
IT hurts my soul the amount of money nikkas missed out on abandoning buildings n shyt. People have turned deserted buildings into expensive ass lofts.

It used to Leave it to Beaver status, there are still some really nice suburbs and areas around it.
I had family there, went to su, etc ec at the early part of the 20th century.
When GE, GM, Carrier, etc left the working population turned into desperates like most of America and now we are where we are.

I'm pretty busy in NY.
I'd have to look into it but the back taxes are usually an arm and a leg, then renovation, and finding buildings that are structurally sound that aren't too much. It's doable. Finding tenants I would imagine isn't the easiest so you may be sitting on un rented properties for a minute. I don't know much about the local re market there.
If I could find some nice sized brick buildings, that I could put commercial space and apartments or condo's in, I'd be happy camper.

I'm pretty sure you have some hookups with contractors up there to make things even easier on your end. I got a friend overseas who is looking to invest in Detroit as well. Probably heading up there sometime next month to check it out for myself.

auctions coming up this fall
september they start auctioning off, but October they sell everything free of taxes
my pops had a boy who was buyin up shyt a couple years ago
but fukked up cuz he owed like 50k in backed taxes on like 4 houses, didnt realize if he woulda waited he coulda bought those houses free and clear
you can buy that building tax free this october
but this the last year to get something real good, people are jumpin on it so they gone raises the prices next year on these houses
