Anyone want to predict how many ppv buys this will do??
When you go to the movies to watch as I often do these days...what does that mean for ppv buys? It doesnt add to it? Or does the movie theaters mean what the streams do? That dont sound right either since it's like $15-20 depending on the market.

That's a good question... I would imagine that seats sold at theaters are not factored into PPV buys. While PPV viewership is often followed as a indicator of how popular a fighter is, it actually helps us understand how much revenue is coming in through PPV sales. Theaters and bars have to pay licensing fees to show the fight, and the money made is split... So it's a whole other source of revenue separate from the PPV buy rate.
