Manny has a very underrated defense. He's not there to be hit, he doesn't take one to give one. Manny is arguably the better counter puncher of the two as well. Not only that, Manny can cut off the ring and hit you with odd angles. Unless Manny comes in over the hill, Manny is gonna beat Keith's ass.
That left is almost impossible to stop. He will be eating a lot of.leather

I feel you breh. I'm not one of these nikkas that hate Manny and shyt on or question every accolade he's received in the sport.

Dude still dangerous as fukk, but I feel like Thurman is all wrong for him at this stage. Its only looked at as a close fight because of Keith's recent inactivity, but make no mistake about it, he's a tougher match up then girl scout punching Bradley, headbutting ass Horn, or average ass Vargas.

Even though Bradley was an A minus level fighter when he fought Pac, but besides some non boxing ass judges that can't score a fight, he really never went into the Pac fight with any type of weapon.

1. Timmy can't throw consistent hard punches due to improper technique. That wild flailing won't get Pac respect. shyt got him countered a bunch of times. Out of 3x fights he legit has only landed a couple of good times that caught Manny attention.
2. He was athletic and can move, but Pac was even more athletic and moves even better.

As far as matching up with Manny....Thurman>>Bradley

Bradley might have a better chin, but he got hurt and rocked and dropped anyways. He needed that chin because he ain't have nothing else for Manny.

I can't be a real Florida nikka and not pick Thurman, but if Pac were to win (which is possible) I wouldn't be upset if its a good fight without judging or ref fukkery. Boxing needs a successful big fight to pull through. This should be the one.

I know people who already rank Pac ahead of Floyd all time. (Mostly cuz of the multiple division titles) If Pac were to beat Thurman (by Ko or clear as fukk) that legacy getting a big boost.

The funny thing is once Manny went over to PBC to run the gauntlet on these Welterweight nikkas, ive seen a shift now at people giving him his props...could be the PBC dikkriding thing that permeates boxing in play. Pac has the advantage over Floyd in terms of resume because of simply who he fought and when he fought them...he cleans up PBC's 147 and takes zeroes...at mininum he would be a top 15 ATG IMO

Agreed
shyt he fighting the 2 nikkas I wanted Floyd to fight cuz I knew they would be dope events (Broner n About Billions vs Floyd nTMT ppv) and Thurman.
Win or lose he gets props for that, especially at his stage and while starting his career out much lighter.

That's the thing, hes not gonna clean up PBC's 147 fighters because hes ducking the biggest one in Spence.

Dope event?! fukk all that, Floyd would have washed Broner to an easy ass decision that the boxing world would have complained about. The Thurman fight, sure I would have liked to see that when Keith was actually "One Time" and was knocking out lower level fighters.

LOL calling Manny a ducker in 2019. What makes you think he’s not fighting the winner of Spence vs Porter next?

He’s been fighting for three decades. He really has no business fighting Thurman either. Manny could e taken the easy route and fought a UFC fighter instead.

Its nuts. This is his 8th division. He's 40 years old and I can still see him possibly (small chance tho) taking it against thurman. That is unheard of.
Actually 11 divisions .

If Manny beats both Thurman and Spence at age 40... you gotta put him up there with Ray Robinson in terms of accomplishments and opposition.

By the way, call me crazy but....
I'm sure as a lightweight or welterweight a prime Manny would give Sugar Ray Robinson fits. If Jake LaMotta gave him trouble. What you think Manny fighting style would do to him? :yeshrug: jus sayin.
Yeah I think robinson wins but you need to go back to guys like harry greb, Henry armstrong, roy jones, Floyd, thomas hearns, sam langford to find guys who went up a ton of weight classes and still fukking dudes up.
Sugar ray would've got maxim if it weren't for weather conditions he was way ahead on cards.Henry armsrrong would have held 4 at the same time were it not for that controversial loss. Pac is one of the greatest offensive fighters of all time hands down

Dope Event meaning we could have gotten something like

Easter Jr. vs Bey
Theopane, Tank, etc... all could have been matched on the card. Would have been dope to see a ppv where everyone on there is black. We would have had all types of crazy interviews and social media shyt talking and jokes from both sides and it would have at least did a mil in ppv sells. Now of course Floyd would have beaten Broner, but this would have been a Broner with only a Maidana lost if it was done at the right time. The fight would definitely be better than the Ghost and Berto fights Floyd had. shyt would be more personal. Floyd might get offensive like the Cotto bout.

Thurman after the Porter fight is the only time I can think One Time name was hot enough and Floyd was still semi active enough to where the fight could have been possible.

Remember this just hypothetically speaking and wishful thinking. :manny:

Yes. He's ducking Spence...There's nothing to deny there. And if Manny had the opportunity Floyd did fighting that "UFC fighter" he would have.

Buboy Fernandez Says The Last Time He Saw Manny Pacquiao So Angry Was Ahead Of Third Fight With Erik Morales

Buboy Fernandez Says The Last Time He Saw Manny Pacquiao So Angry Was Ahead Of Third Fight With Erik Morales — Boxing News & Views

As per a story from The Manila Times, Buboy says the last time he saw Manny so angry was going into the second and third fights with Erik Morales. Fired up in a big way after having been beaten by the legendary Mexican warrior in their first fight, Pacquiao looked awesome in fights two and three; when he stopped “El Terrible” in dominant fashion. Fernandez says Pacquiao refers to Thurman as a “braggart,” and that he was particularly offended when Thurman said he would “crucify” Pacquiao.

“Manny rarely badmouths an opponent, but he refers to Thurman as a braggart and arrogant,” Buboy said. “The last time I saw him act this way was in Morales III. If he wants to run him [Thurman] over, then I’ll let him do it. We’ll do everything, but with caution.”

They're earning their paychecks selling this fight and presenting this narrative. I hope the PPV does numbers, will be great for the sport. Can't wait to hear all the whiners on here when Thurman gets that W.
