It was dope when they were breaking down plays in the beginning, but the guests who don’t care about football ruin it for me (which seems to have taken over the focal point of the show) I want to watch Peyton and Eli break stuff down, not variety hour

But those numbers without the DirecTV subs

Was DirecTV really holding up the Manningcast numbers like that?

Just not a necessity when the MNF booth is actually good. Buck & Aikman are the best going right now and give the broadcast a validity it hasn't had since Michaels/Madden and Tirico.

If it's a really good game people are probably not going to want to watch.

They need to keep it more breaking down of the game giving an indepth breakdown from a QB's perspective in a more casual setting. They leaned too much into trying to get jokes off. Also need to dead the celebrity interviews or find a better way to tie the interviews into the action happening on the screen.

Crazy that they still haven’t had Peyton and Eli in the same room for this shyt once over the years.

It’s definitely played at this point, but the shyt ain’t going anywhere. Omaha Productions has a deal with ESPN through 2034, and it was all but confirmed that they’re doing this when Disney has the Super Bowl in Feb 2027.

This is why it fell off. When it was just those two really breaking down the game on the show, it was great. Peyton is obviously obsessed with football and Eli was a perfect compliment to him.

They started adding all these guests and terrible interviews and just destroyed the show.

Feels like a remnant of a past era (covid) that people are just over with now. I never fukked with it because the quality was always spotty to me. Tape delays and shyt just makes it awkward plus it’s rarely anything interesting. Guests usually suck too.

They should get in a studio and stop bullshytting.
