We are still seeing late 80s Jordan. The 90s Jordan ain’t there yet.
Ant at best could be a D Wade, prime T Mac if he had a full career.

The MJ comparisons should be deaded.

I just can't look at dudes who have a bunch of 16 and 19 and 22 point games as an MJ level player. MJ under 30 was usually a bad game for him. For MJ to score under 30 it was most likely a bad shooting game. Mike didn't have 15 and 19 points games. shyt just didn't happen.

You said "that wasn't the ECF" as if I had called it the ECF. Admit it, you read it wrong.

And Pippen was a call away from being up 3-2 and was definitely going to win the next at home. Whereas Kyrie got slaughtered the only time he even saw the 2nd round as the leader. Hell, his only 1st-round win was against a low seed missing their #1 player.

You lied and said he had never made it past the 2nd round, when he actually got to Game 7 of the WCF. And everyone who watched knows why the league had to make sure they lost that game.

Pippen as a team leader went 6-4 in the '94 playoffs, 10-6 in the 2000 playoffs, and 0-3 in the 2001 playoffs. 16 playoff wins and 3 series wins in 3 years, and as I pointed out, he was a call or two away from going further in both '94 and '00.

Kyrie as a team leader missed the playoffs in '12, missed the playoffs in '13, missed the playoffs in '14, got hurt and watched his team make it all the way to Game 7 of the ECF without him in '18, came back to the same team only to get destroyed 1-4 in the 2nd round in '19, then got hurt again in '20. Just 5 playoff wins and 1 series win in 6 years, and he never looked for a moment like he was ever going to do better than that.

Claiming that those are similar resumes is another example of basketball discussion being a joke here.

Scottie pippen was a role player on the 2000 blazers :dead: now he’s gets all the credit for “leading “ a team that went to wcf without him the year before :mjlol:

Man shut your dikkriding ass up

again he wasn’t a call or two away from doing shyt the blazers choked pippen fouled out in the 4th & the bulls would of went up 3-2 in the 2nd round which means absolutely NOTHING.the pacers were one win away from the finals & LOST in the same postseason

Yeah all that sounds good just better hope they supporting cast show up cuz Pj, Lively,DJJ, Gafford etc gone pull up
That ain’t their problem, they just play with CTE at times. The supporting cast of Dallas got outplayed by Minnesota’s the first two games. It was the stars that failed.

Leading scorer on the '99 Blazers was JR Rider, and they got swept in the WCF. Blazers traded away Rider, Jim Jackson, and Stacey Augmon to pick up Pippen and Steve Smith. Pippen was clearly the leader of that team, and he took them to Game 7 of the WCF against the Shaq-Kobe-Rice Lakers and, like I pointed out, was a David Stern fix job away from a title.

I was a Blazers fan and everyone knew Scottie was the leader of that team. You were a child.

Why are you just repeating yourself after you've already gotten caught being confused and wrong? :mjlol:

The video I already posted shows the sort of bullshyt that Pippen and Sabonis were fouled out on in Game 7 in 2000. And you keep ignoring that the '94 Bulls won Game 6 at home in a blowout, it wasn't close the entire 4th quarter. If they had gotten Game 5, then there was no chance the Knicks were winning the next two, they weren't built like that.

Notice that while you're making these weak-ass argument to ignore Pippen competing to Game 7 against Finals teams in his two main chances as the leader in 1994 and 2000, you haven't said a word about Kyrie doing NOTHING in six seasons as the #1. Why is that?

The Mavericks had a slightly better field goal percentage (55,9% success rate, they hit 38 of their 68 shots) than the Timberwolves (43/85, 50,6%)they took less shots than the wolves but they hit over half of their shots.

Three point shooting: the wolves were 9/30 from the three point line. But the mavs once again had a better field goal percentage. They were 14/28, so they took 2 less three point shots than Minnesota but they hit half of their three point shot attempts.

Free throw attempts: the mavs had more free throw points than the wolves because they drew more fouls. Dallas was 26/31 (83,9%) on FTs while Minnesota was only 12/17(70,6%) Why Minnesota had less FTs than Dallas? Because the Wolves were afraid of getting inside the paint and taking it strong to the rim in the first half. KAT/Gobert, their best two bigs, were invisible offensively in the first two quarters and didn’t make their presence felt in the paint and around the rim. During the entire game, they struggled to get offensive rebounds/boards and score putbacks/easy layups at the rim. They couldn’t draw fouls.

As a team, the mavs took less personal fouls(19) than Minnesota (24). Dallas was the more disciplined team tonight.

Dallas made more interceptions/steals (7) than Minnesota (4)

Dallas made more blocks (5) than Minnesota (2)
