Lively gave the mavericks quality minutes coming off the bench and was a good facilitator and finisher on offense and a good athletic defender inside the paint. His style of play (a dynamic and mobile big with soft hands, with a good midrange jumper, who drives to the rim and good at paint/rim scoring and rebounding ) complements both Kyrie/luka game so well. He’s exceptionally agile, quick and mobile for a guy his size and height and draws fouls easily(more free throws)

He’s good at the pick n roll, ( when he’s used as a screen and decoy for passers/shooters and vice versa)


He will be a solid rebounder/ rim runner. As long he’s a circling vulture around the paint/rim, as long as he consistently drives to the rim, scores in the paint and dominates the glass, he will be alright.
