Kingdom: I knew the fallout from Kanki getting bodied would shake the continent and this chapter did a great job relaying that. The title of Great General is tied to the health and strength of the entire country and Qin just took a massive L. On the upside, we're finally getting back to my favorite living Great Ousen.

MHA: I know this was a "moment" chapter but outside the last panel, it just didn't land. This is one of the cases where the anime will end up more impactful by bringing it to life. The fact that Dabi is petty enough to drop a nuke because he caught an L is good writing, man's hate is everlasting and true to the game. I respect it.

Black Clover: Another "moment" chapter with even the fight being filler. Meroleona is one of my favorites but I just can't cosign this chapter; the opponent is an empty fodder villain and her flunkies committing that to buy time was hollow.

JJK: I already spoke on this in the main thread but it's good to have Gojo back on deck and shytting on Sukuna while hyping Yuji. It was a good chapter because Gege played to his strengths balancing the humor, character work, and suspense. With a little over a month, Gojo is going to finish Yuji's training and we're going to have a problem.

Man they really committed making this series as edgy as it can be. Tbh not the biggest fan of the direction of this arc given in this chapter, but should still be entertaining. Also it is interesting to see that Akane regardless of her talents needs to be true to herself. It is quite evident comparing her and Kana to where the twins are now.

Same, I’ve recently started all 3. They’re all quality and entertaining series, the fights especially. These death battle tournament series have a certain appeal and are very good when done right. Those fights get intense and are really engaging

I’ve read Tenmaku Cinema, I like it so far and can tell it'll be a manga I’ll enjoy. Read it off the strength of it being made by the Mangaka duo who made Food Wars

I just read all the chapters of Beat & Motion. I like this 1 too, somehow it slipped under my radar

It's a testament to how trash they were that they sacrificed their whole ass lives to try and slow down, not even defeat because they're incapable of that, an underboss. An unheralded, damn near last minute insert villain and that's with Yuno boosting their abilities and weakening their opponent.

Absolute garbage tier, Saibamen level deaths.

As for MHA, I'm literally at the point where I just want it to be over. There's zero hype or anticipation left for me, it's a slog through an ocean of wasted potential.
