I swear if the word and concept of "Cultivation" appears in another one of these manga, I'm dropping it on the fukking spot.
Dropped Martial Master: Art style just really threw me off and the MC (at least how he looks in the current story) looks suspect as hell.
Dropped Tales of Demons and Gods: Story is bleh, harem trash, powers aren't interesting at all, characters receive the most development at the start and kind of just sit at the midpoint for a long time
. A lot of high-tier shyt is being thrown around, and the art doesn't really capture the impact of it. Fights are just stomps because the MC is overpowered. Every character keeps doubting him because his "power level" isn't at Cultivation rank bullshyt, but they end up getting shyt on every time.
Dropped Chronicles of Heavenly Demon: MC has no real character development, the rest of the cast is pretty nameless and trash. If a character disappears for a chapter or more, you'll probably forget they exist. Powers/Skills leave a lot to be desired in terms of how they're acquired, the way they're presented, etc. Fights are pretty much just stomps with no actual back and forth.
On the fence about Martial Peak: Has the same problems as above. Haven't dropped it yet cause the MC is a savage tbh
. On some shyt, it's pretty much just Solo Leveling with worse art, but the MC is actually getting some cheeks.
Peerless Dad is crack. It really just hits different. While the MC doesn't necessarily get the jumps in power like the other manga/manwha, seeing him develop as a father and create a better living situation for his children is just wholesome and actually different than what other stories do. Watching the kids grow is a mix of
and
