Man wtf is going on with weed? Everything smells gassy right now. No cherry scents no vanilla no coffee no caramel, no unique smells. They are all gas

Yea I know about that. I came across a grower with pounds of sprayed shyt like 7 years ago. The Detroit market took off after that and we got the EXACT same strains as Cali has (and a bunch of popular strains started here, including Allen Iverson strain and Al Harrington bred some original strains here). I can tell the difference and it's easy to tell.

Also makes no sense to spray some quality weed with a seperate scent, sprayed weed is sprayed because it's not giving off a strong smell early in the grow process. Nobody who has smoked for 20 years can be finessed by sprayed weed, I prioritize smell and flavor. I like to try every unique strain I come across. I've probably touched them all. I've never been finessed by sprayed weed bro lol.

The place I been buying from is having a bad stretch and is mislabeling strains/they got a factory so maybe the soil is being recycled and transferring nutrients (idk if this is possible).

Some of they top shelf was different types of gassy, but the gas background was in all of them. They didn't all necessarily smell the same though. They all looked different also.

I've had Lemon Cherry Runtz and Sour Skittles that smelled more like candy than weed, and they were some of the strongest shyts I ever smoked.

This "highly flavored weeds are weak or sprayed" is some shyt I've never seen or heard in my life

Bro what? nikkas DEFINITELY used to spray mid weed back in the day to try to finesse more money, alot of em got jammed up for it in the long run too, but that definitely was a thing and NO it wasn't regional, it was mostly something middle or high school aged dealers would try to pull, regardless of region.

I remember nikkas mixing lemon and lime juice from Walmart and misting it over the weed, let it sit overnight and it's a brighter green with purple splotches on it like exotic I was like how'd y'all even stumble upon this??? Early 2000s era iirc

It's a delivery only place that been open since 2018. Had the most variety out of any place I ever went to at the time (can only get delivered, so you can't smell the weed before purchase, gotta go off pics or text questions about it so that definitely hurts). I discovered damn near 90% of the REAL exotic strains thru them.

I'm gonna switch up the next time I re-up through. I don't move crud anymore and I ain't no heavy smoker, a zip lasts me 5-6 weeks (I grab 4 quarters or 8 8ths). I hate when I'm stuck with similar strains until my next cycle god dammit smh.

However, now when customers come in after obviously smoking weed, they come in with a repulsive odor following them. It's surprising to see that the brehs and brehettes don't really seem to mind and even appear to take pride in it. It's an odd flex. Also, I get that I live in TN, and we'll be the last state in the union to legalize it, so they must be getting whatever they can - which is cheap shyt. I bet they're getting ripped off too. Pay a lot just for some garbage, brehs.

It's a pleasant and strong sweet dark and fuelish type of smell. Kinda similar to the pine of OG strains but its completely different from pine.

I'm simply tired of how common it is. I DONT THINK IT SMELLS BAD.

Scents like cherry, vanilla, and coffee are typically post harvest additives. It's very difficult to cross breed the traits required to create those scents in cannabis without compromising THC concentration.
