"I don't want my children to be waiters... Waiting for me and my wife to die"

:deadrose: :deadrose:

But shout out to him, that is the best plan of action. When you come up on some money (Lottery, Become a famous entertainer, Wall Street, Successful business, etc) it is imperitive to not tell anyone except a couple people you trust

And keeping your same job is awesome in that you want to keep your sanity with the new money. Instead of thinking you HAVE to spend it on idiotic things

Yup and if you love your job its a bonus.

I'd still work, but I'm in IT so I'd just be doing contracting working remotely and traveling. Plus I'm not flashy and never will be so I won't be walking around wearing Rolexes and driving Bentleys, none of that. I'd just get in the property game and keep things simple. I've never been materialistic like that anyway.

I’ve already said before what i would do if i won that type of money.

Tell NOBODY at first. Not even wife/girlfriend

I’d find a reputable financial advisor, someone with a history of working with people who’ve never (at least publicly) had any financial problems like Denzel, Lebron, Kevin Durant, Serena Williams, etc. ( all of that info is googable)

I’d buy my mother a house, NOT a mansion, but a nice house and a car and set her up with a stipend of $3.5k a month for spending and leisure. She’d effectively be retired.

Each one of my siblings would get a ONE TIME gift payment of $65k. One time and one time ONLY.

My two best friends who have been like brothers to me all of my life would each get a ONE TIME gift payment of $50K each.

I’d put $2 Million into a special account for my daughter that she can only access after she turns 25 and has either completed a bachelor’s degree or started her own business thats been running for 4 years.

After that i’m moving to Ghana and going ghost. No one would have any direct contact link to me except my daughter, who i’d make sure to frequently visit and one of my best friends, who i’d ask to check in periodically on my mother. Everybody else be damned.

Never understood people who get money and tell people. Every year it seems like I see an article about somebody getting killed or robbed because they ran their mouth about getting their tax refund. I could only imagine telling people you won millions.

I knew a dude years ago who won six figures but went and told everybody like a dummy, then ended up being harassed by every blood sucking leech until he had to move out the country.

Some folks feel obligated to tell people for some weird reason, but you don't owe anybody shyt. Only your spouse and MAYBE a trusted parent or sibling. That's it. Anyone else and you're just being a fool.

Well most lotteries identify you anyway.
