I think so too but they already moved in together already, it only make sense she meet the parents.
My only complaint is every other girl he seriously dated we got a long build up of how they met and how dates go. This literally was a 2 min intro and they are now a serious couple. Could've been handled a bit better.
His character development is pretty amazing though from where he first started in the show.

Funniest bit last episode was the fake credits for the Meltheda show and Mike doing the impression of Josh getting a boner while playing clarinet .
