Hate to be that guy but imo they deserve each other. Dude is a nutjob, no doubt. But she was trolling him hard by going along with his crazy demands. Deep down she loved the attention and the control she felt she had over the relationship. Both crazy if you ask me.

As far as the lawsuit, a big part of it seems to be about defamation. He claims she said he was stalking her and that it's not true which affected his reputation. If he's right, who knows, he might have a case. Again both seem like weirdos...

Most people don't have the headspace to deal with litigation which is why the courts correctly recognise that he was abusing the process.

She should have stood her ground earlier but I can understand why someone would accept a form of mediation as a means of resolving things without going to trial. No one wants to deal with the lawyer fees, deadlines and court fees. Bear in mind, she was awarded $14,000 in costs. Most people would lose their shyt over having to spend $500 on car repairs.
