Silly humans. Goes to show that despite our vastly superior mental facilities and numerous other advantages over all animal groups, we are still the dumbest creatures in animal kingdom by far.
Just like everyone's birth is mapped out, your death is finalized before you even leave the womb. He's going to die on the same day regardless. Only difference is he could've died with some dignity instead of as science homework or a decade old South Park joke when Honey Boo Boo got the pig heart transplant and became a pig.

There's a decent chance you or your mother would have died at birth without all the "playing god" shenanigans you're spewing.

Your point was people are trying to play god. My point is people have been "playing god" for centuries now. It's like people predicting the world will end any day now.
Humm I wonder if PETA is going to have an issue with this? Just a random thought seeing as the first response on Twitter I'm seeing is "how's the pig doing"....this procedure literally saved a human life. I wonder what the religious community feels about this aswell especially the fact it's coming from a pig of all animals...
