Not saying you're wrong but the Six Flags in MD is literally surrounded by neighbors, like walking distance surrounded with a bus route. It's in the suburbs but it's very populated

That's off of 214 right?

Haven't been around that way in a while but It's weird seeing a six flags nearby some big ass homes :pachaha:

But even that location is kind of away from a lot of stuff (I haven't been around that was since 2007 though so maybe they built it up some more since then)

Is the inconvenience of leaving the workplace and waiting in line every day to get some more than likely unhealthy food worth an annual $3k savings? If you are eating fried bullshyt every day you'll probably end up spending that money on the back end in healthcare costs.

I went down the rabbit hole.

Apparently, the dude is an electrical engineer and his place of work is in sight of Six Flags. So it was fairly convenient for him. Dude said the first year was trash because the menu was nothing but unhealthy food but they've added better options since -- toward the back of the park, so it depends on the work load as to whether he got what was closest or went all the way back in part of the articles, he estimated at times he'd have to walk about 5,000 steps and was 'hustlin' -- so there's no telling how much exercise by association he got during this -- and he's cut back on eating there as often since his wife moved in.

It is, but in places like NY or Cali... a classic double meal, regular-sized, with a small frosty is probably around 11-12 bucks to start with.

It’s roughly 12.50 a month in food…
nikkas is clowing but this struggle hustle tactics, broke boy edition. My broke cousin used to save on water by getting a gym membership and buying bulk distilled water at Cosco. No internet, hang out at the McDonald's parking lot or Starbucks. Heating bill too high? Spend a few days a month at a different shelter.

Hard mode is when you live out a shortage container for a few months to save for a deposit.

i mean salute to him for having a plan and sticking to it. im tired of seeing stories of people living on the edge just to accomplish what were formerly attainable goals with a regular job

Yea if there are healthy options and he can get the food within 30 minutes I can see it. When I was on my debt-free journey the food wasnt nowhere near the biggest expense, It was fukken the cost of owning a car (fuel, insurance, maintenance). Im from the south so the cost of food is cheap for me so I never factored he could be living a place with expensive food. But Im also a health freak and rarely eat out so I don't really know how much it costs to eat out.

I would rather eat healthy and live a fulfilling life.

I own a house.
Have paid the majority of my student loans off.
Don't want colon cancer so will skip six flags food and marriage
