Yo I just read the comments to this story in the op. And brehs are really lacking in their reading comprehension. The dude was clearly married, clearly had a job, the places have different types of food, it’s not unbelievable to live and work close to a theme park.

I can't knock the hustle. I just looked at Hershey Park because it was 10 minutes from my old gym but they only offer the season pass meal plan during the summer. If it was the same $150 price for year round I'd probably do it anyways. Even If I just picked up a burrito bowl from Moe's Southwest Grill every Friday I'd save $318 a year.

Or do it with ramen and eggs. All the protein and carbs you need.

You can "splurge" and get peanut butter, rice, beans and cheap bacon....

This motherfukker just sounds extremely lazy.
that sodium in ramen packs will body you and i doubt many people eat them without the flavoring.

it was a chinese dude that's a nutritionist who told me to :whoa: on that shyt. He seen the effects first hand.

kidney stones...

You sayin they paved paradise and put up a parking lot? :mjcry:
Yeah, and the fkd up part is they did it to save money and use it as a parking lot for the rodeo, it ended up costing enough money to keep the park open another 10 years and after that we had a population boom so they easily would’ve started turning a huge ass profit. Meanwhile the rodeo has been cancelled last 2 years :beli::beli::beli::beli::beli:

Only major metro city with no theme park

the one in Vallejo isn’t, I’m guessing this was at Magic Mountain tho. no idea if that one is or not. I thought they all have an off season.

Usually close after Halloween til like March or April

this story is probably BS since it seems like the only confirmation is the guy claims it’s true lol.

Yup.
Magic Mountain is open all year round.

And on top of that they host grad nites and special occasions, celebrities also often come there and rent out
sections of the park or the even the entire park itself.

This is why I don't believe it.

Theme Parks aren't on strip malls...they typically in the booneys.

He'd have to get on the interstate just to eat a fukking meal. Twice. Every day.

There are lot of business within 10 minutes of this particular theme park.
Several of which are in the Aerospace industry, so it's believable.
I didn’t know Magic Mountain was open all year
yup.
They do drop their schedule depending on the season but for the most part they're open all year.
(like in the fall/winter they drop to three days a week then ramp up to full schedule again.

So there had to have been periods of at least a month where bro had to hit Wendy's or McDonald's or the other spots literally right at the
entrance to Magic Mountain.

This motherfukker just sounds extremely lazy.

Assuming he eats a pack of ramen and two eggs per day as a meal, and that was all he ate in a day...

One pack of ramen on average is about 20-25 cents. .25x7 days in a week = 1.75 a week x 52 weeks in a year = 91 dollars.
One dozen eggs on average is about 1.50. 1.50 x 52 weeks in a year = 78 dollars.

91 + 78 = 169 dollars in a year. This doesn't include water or any splurges. He spent $150 on the pass and got two meals with variety and a snack every day for a year.

Groceries for a single male is only hittin for like 3500 a year.

To frame this bullshyt as some big brain financial strategy is :mjlol:

I get all that, but this man's grocery bill for a year was literally $150. That's less than a lot of people's monthly power bill.

There's no telling where his health is, and that's the real issue. But from a solely financial standpoint :ehh:

He said he actually got in 4000 steps in, whatever that means.

It's roughly 2 miles.
