So you rather them continue with the sameness?

That's why I got bored with Marvel and DC.

Superman isn't the most greatest hero of all time. Superman was boring a LONG time ago. Hasn't meant shyt since Reeves did it but Spider-Man? Who doesn't love the damn Spider-Man story? Written at his best? It's the best comic story there is.

As for it being the same or not? There's been alot of Spider-Man changes. When he went Black Spider-Man some years ago and was whooping everyone's asses and beat the shyt out of Kingpin after he shot Aunt May..the deal with Mephisto that ended his marriage with Mary Jane that pissed fans off...when he told everyone who he was around Civil War which was retconned OUT by the Mephisto deal:laugh: Just a little off brand.

Marvel fukked Spiderman up a long time ago when as R=G said, they made Spidey reveal his identity to the world during Civil War, causing villains to go after his loved ones. No Superhero reveals his identity to the world for this very reason, and they made Peter Parker of all people do that shyt. It's like Batman abandoning the dark and fighting in white during the day time. I'm all for change but...I dunno...we'll see where this is going.

So he will be dead like Steve Rodgers a couple years ago. They'll bring him back eventually. I stopped reading comics because of stuff like this. Too many shock value story lines and crossovers. Too many retcons also. They are just running low on ideas. Making heroes into villains, villains into heroes, C-list heroes into Gods/Goddesses.

I think Marvel and DC should just do a reboot every 10-15 years. Wrap up and retire 616 and move onto 617,618, etc. I'm talking a hard reboot and not what DC did with the new 52. Start completely over with a new universe from scratch. To soften the blow and properly tie up loose ends, they should plan the end three years in advance (and warn readers). If done right it will attract new readers and give older readers closure.

Its too late for that, they can do that after I die, but not while I'm alive
If I was old and in a nursing home
I provably would have died from a heart attack today
