These players today have no idea how much they have been robbed. Is it no coincidence the the year bron came into the league the switch happened :manny: I mean imagine bob costas talking about the heat Big 3 las yr or even covering Celtic Lakers finals :sadbron: We have been robbed brehs dont forget about those terrible first couple of espn years. We need Bill Walton and Snapper Jones arguing about todays flopping and bytchassness in the L :noah:

Sundays were the best in the 90's.. After the last game, my brothers and I would get hype from watching so much basketball, we'd go to the park and ball until the Sun would set..

It's apart of the time when people weren't soft about sports. I think of Oakley w/ the Knicks poppin people. The Knicks - Heat rivalry. In all seriousness, The Real Bill Walton was calling games.

I still got a bunch of those finals games on tape. I would play back just the pregame storylines just to get hyped up.

Had a little taste of it the past few seasons here with Bill Walton calling Kings games sometimes. Even a few times he did radio :win:

Jim Gray's been doing sideline reporting with the Kings a few years now too. When he had Floyd Mayweather last season for a 10 minute interview during halftime, I was like

Too much dikkriding on that ESPN gameday crew since day one. Hasn't been the same since.

breh, i forgot about the little storylines before the theme song

this was a perferct one to show too.

i was too young to know about this. Shaq got swept but he won in the end :win:

Nelly had a song on that Sweat Suit double album drop that explicitly sampled the NBA on NBC theme song. I think it was called Heart of a Champion or something like that.

:laff: Broussard before Broussard

lol those were the days, the good ol days i honestly think having the nba on nbc like every sat n sunday during the reg season and by having nba inside stuff before the games converted millions over to basketball.

nba inside stuff was the goat show, you'd learn so much about nba players behind the scene,

i remembe being a kid and after nba inside stuff it would be like knicks v heat, then you'd get like bulls v pacers and then get like the lakers v rockets or some ish.

then for all star weekend they had that fan session ish i always remeber when kobe rapped and tyra came on stage as well

ABC/ESPN getting the broadcast rights was terrible from the outset. NBC seemed to care more about having the NBA than ABC/ESPN do. Plus I remember the epic unintentional comedy of the Snapper Jones/Bill Walton team
