Yeah, this shyt was all over the news here this past weekend. People thought the food truck mishap was gunshots , causing a stampede
When I first heard about the death, I thought someone died from getting trampled in the stampede.Suspect already turned himself in. I guess it's Sacramento's Summer Jam now. Last time I went to it was a dozen years ago it was more of a family friendly concert for Cinco de Mayo weekend. It's gotten bigger names since then and so have been the crowds.
As for the fukkery, it's at a horrible spot at Discovery Park. There's only one way to enter/exit because it's set below a levee between two rivers like a peninsula . The other exit , on the other side towards Downtown is blocked off during shows.
Should've moved this event to Cal Expo a long time ago
Ironically, ten years ago I was at Bomb 21 at San Jose Arena (San Jose's summer Jam) where someone got murked after the show twenty yards away from me
E-40 was the headline then too, getting a "Lifetime Achievement Award" after his set
