Peter Dinklage is inspiring for me, personally. Imagine trying to make it into Hollywood, never mind dating, as a dwarf. Producers and such told him he could only play leprechauns and elves and shyt. I think it took him almost 16 years from when he started acting to land a role as big and serious as Tyrion Lannister in GOT. Man has iron will to get the door slammed in your face for that long and not just throw in the towel and take a Weeman role. Plus he met his wife before GOT fame, so you can't he was pulling off his status.
Might be some survivorship bias there, but the fact remains you can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket.
