there are many things to consider here breh.

while i do agree with you that, if somebody wanted to commit suicide, why not ditch it into the gulf of thailand...but then, what if whoever was flying didn't want anyone finding the plane?

secondly, why would the pilot climb to 45,000 ft and risk disintegrating the aircraft? they wayyyyyyyyy beyond flight parameters at that point. my theory: they wanted to knock the passengers out eventhough they cud've done it at a lower altitude.

thirdly, the altitude deviations. 23,000 ft is an odd altitude. perhaps they wanted to avoid radar contact?

looking at the crew, i doubt they had any involvement in this matter whatsoever. Now i could very well be wrong, but i doubt it. Yes the captain had close to 19,000 hours, but the flight's irregularities doesn't really support this theory. During cruise, flight attendants enter into the cockpit to serve food and drinks. So what if someone or some people at that very moment, took advantage of the flight attendant and entered into the cockpit because i can tell you, without the pilots knowing, that cockpit door post 9-11 has become damn near impenetrable.

I'm curious as to how the flight attendants bring food in there. Do they just knock on the door and then the pilot looks out to see who it is before opening it? I agree that nobody broke in the cockpit by force because not only would they have a hard time getting in, the pilots would have had more than enough time to send a SOS message. There was those girls a few days back that claimed that the pilot let them in the cockpit during their flight. It could be that a terrorist used this as a weakness to get inside the cockpit.

the obvious question that undermines the act of terrorism theory is, "why hasn't any organization claimed credit?"

pilots got camera views that are connected to their lcd screens in the flight deck. The camera is located outside the cockpit door. So whoever wants to come in, they see it on their screens before letting anyone in.

and those girls are dumb. i hate stupid hoes like that. Besides, that shyt happened in 2011. Why didn't they say anything then? :childplease:

If that happened back in 2011, it's no telling how complacent that pilot has gotten by now. There's plenty of ways to pick up girls that don't involve putting hundreds of lives in danger. Hopefully we get answers soon but I'm not holding my breath because it may take years just like Air France 447.

CNN had a very good report and panel on the whole thing a couple of hours ago, this is what was concluded

That it had to have been a hijacking and "sabotage" and that more than one person was definitely involved. 3 signal transmitters(The Transponders) were switched off manually(which is why the plane went off the grid), which would have required at least two people do, one person has to fly and the other has to make their way down to turn them off. To get to the transmitters you need to lift a carpet, open a flap/hatch next to the cockpit with a special type of screwdriver and crawl down to a certain area where they're contained. When the first transmitter was turned off, the plane sharply changed direction, the second transmitter that recorded this was then turned off. Some other guy talked about how even if they find the plane and the cockpit recorder it will be useless as it's a two hour loop, so the recording when they made the turn will be erased. Also talked about how a plane cannot land in "the dark" and that it would require ground communication and the correct runway to do so. They had about 12-15 experts from different fields(CIA, aviation, journalists, Pentagon correspondents etc) giving their thoughts on the matter.

  • The CNN program also talked about how post 9/11 you can no longer just break into the cockpit as they're now reinforced with metal. So passengers are locked out, however this means they cannot get in the pilots decide to go AWOL.
  • There was also a reason given as to why the passengers couldn't establish any sort of contact with people on the ground, I've forgotten what exactly it was but it had something to do with the type of Boeing 777, it's one of the few that prevents passengers from making phonecalls or having a connection whilst in the air.
  • If the plane crashed into the sea and they find some wreckage, it's most likely 100's of miles away from the original crash site.
Don't see any other scenario other than both pilots being responsible, just too much aviation experience is needed to do a job like this.

We're building passenger transport planes into space but we still haven't found something that can track plane crashes?
