Why is it so difficult to bet on the NBA consistently? Lets take yesterday for example. you have the awful, awful miami heat who cant buy a bucket at home go all the way out west over 2000 miles and beat a good portland team at home by 10. Then you have the sixers who are pretty much undefeated at home get blown out by Toronto. If the sixers were to lose it should have been by 1-4 pts at most.
This is just a small microcosm of the NBA and betting. This has proven to be one of the most difficult sports to get right as its just too volatile. Any given second you can have a team (Detroit) up 20+ points at home just to lose in the 4th against the clippers.

My guess: a lot of the randomness has to do with the schedule.

Nets killed my parlay yesterday as well. I went all in on the kings -3 vs Miami yesterday. They somehow covered the spread even though they were down 9 to start the 4th quarter. Kings played like shyt for 3 quarters but still managed to win and cover. I went from wanting to kill myself for the bet to feeling relief once it ended. The game made me want to quit sports betting all together
