There are always going to be tough losses and we can all say "I was so close" on many plays over the years, but the ones I've been losing lately are beyond annoying, especially when the one pick I add to these plays that costs me is the only time I made that play out of all of my plays during the day.
Yesterday:
-Took Sabalanka 22+ fantasy points in my main play, but added her at under 12 1/2 games won in another play. Of course she wins 13 games.
-Picked Judge, Bellinger, Wells, and Volpe to go over on their fantasy point lines. They ALL went over by the second inning. I'm feeling good that all I need is Lindor not to play like a bum. He gets zero. That's all I needed to hit a +1900 play. This play drives me nuts because every single Yankees player I picked beat their projection by at least double, and Judge beat it by about seven times.
I think for MLB going forward, I'm just going to pick four players, two from two different teams that bat near each other in a line-up. You get a good day from that part of the line-up, and you can end up doing really well because the runs and RBI's really stack up. If the player you choose hits a HR, you are pretty much guaranteed to go over on the fantasy score total. That is what the Yankees did for me yesterday.
