Alright, need your guys opinions here.

-As I've mentioned before, if the Bruins win the Stanley Cup, I'll make about $20,000.

-If the Celtics win the Eastern Conference, I'm looking at about $7,000.

-If the Celtics win the NBA Championship, that would be $6,700

-If the Bruins win the Stanley Cup and the Celtics win the Eastern Conference, that would be another $20,000.

That is WITHOUT hedging any bets. This is where I am looking to see what you guys would do. I have two open parlays remaining as well. One is at $1,685 and needs one more win to finish it, and the other is $710 with one more win to finish it. Those numbers are what they would be if it were just a two team parlay, so roughly doubling that total is what I would make for hitting on those open parlays. I had another one open the other night, but it didn't hit.

I also have $4,411 in my account on top of that.

So, here is what I am looking to figure out. The Bruins play, I can't really do anything about. They are down 2-1 in the series, but they can definitely pull it out. If they somehow win this series, I do believe they will make the Stanley Cup Finals, and I would 100% make a very large hedge in that situation.

The Celtics winning the Eastern Conference is the play I am trying to figure out. Would you guys bet $2,000 or so on the Raptors here as a hedge? I ask that as IF the Celtics beat the Raptors, then I'll automatically be able to hedge during the Eastern Conference Finals, depending on what the ML would be for the series. Or, should I just let the Celtics v.s. Raptors play out and hope for the best?

hedge something on the raptors series
if hayward was playing, i'd say just keep your bet how it is, but without him, raps could beat them

I kind of feel the same way. I'm leaning towards hedging on the Raptors here, as if the Celtics win, I can still hedge on them in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The lack of big men for the Celtics is worrisome, but I also believe they have the two best players in the series in Tatum and Brown. Then you have that X-factor in Kemba........

Probably my favorite young duo in the league. Interested to see which one Siakam guards during the series.

I wish i could get up to where i have a decision to hedge with a couple thousand:pachaha:

I wouldnt mind hedging but not half your bankroll on a futures bet.

Part of me just wants to let it play out. Not anything I can do about it without burning a lot of my bankroll. If I hedge and the Celtics win, then I'll have even less to be able to use to hedge against the Bucks/Heat. I would have to use my open parlays. That is what I am holding onto right now.

I'm thinking I might not hedge, and see how game one goes. If the Celtics win game one, then maybe I hedge on the Raptors after game one if they are +ML for the series........

I got lucky. I was being a moron (again) and was playing blackjack. I got up from $800 to $1,600 and then blew all of it except $400 because I lost 11/12 hands in a row and was upping my bets. I got pissed off and just threw $400 on Bruins ML +350 to win in regulation. Well, minutes later they were down ANOTHER goal. The line at the end of the period move to +1100 or +1400 to win the game and it was +2500 to win in regulation. Yet, I got it at +340.

I closed one of my parlays with +1000 and I ended up with $8,200. Then I played some blackjack and got smoked down to $5,500. Have had the casino blocked since then, and I haven't made a lot of bets since that time. I've been holding for the hope to hedge on these bigger bets.

So, I really just got lucky that I was pissed off and put my money on a team I like to comeback and win.:manny:.

Rather be lucky than good sometimes.:yeshrug:.

Yeah youre better off ltting the futures ride and betting game to game

Agreed. I've been doing the math, and if I hedge on the Raptors, I'm pretty much just burning some of my other plays and bankroll because IF the Celtics were to win their series against the Raptors and play the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals (possibly the Heat), then I'd likely have to hedge on -150 Bucks or something like to win the series. Doesn't seem worth it hedging now.

Don't play blackjack. It's one of those games where I an go from $1,000 up to $5,000 in a couple of hours, but you can lose it just as quickly. If I just didn't try to get the quick money by playing it, I'd have larger future bets. Oddly enough, one of my friends called me last night to go to Foxwoods or Twin River Casino to play and I had to say no.:wow:.

Edit: Early bubble games and first playoff games of this year is where I should have hammered more. That's why I went Buck hunting in game one, anything can happen in the bubble.

If you dont want any issues, this is the best way to cash out.

I cash out in bitcoin and have it in less than 12 hrs

Agreed. It's quick and I've only had an issue one time, and it had to do with it needing to send my BTC to a new address. Very easy though. And, I don't have to give a foreign check to a bank.
