This times 1000. Thats why i been up big the past 2 weeks. Only parlay small bets. Use big bets on almost guaranteed picks. And medium bets on like a 2 game teaser.

I be preaching this but it always falls upon deaf ears. As long as you wager the same amount of money on each bet, all you have to do is win more bets on the day than you lose and you will make a profit on the day. fukk trying to hit the lottery everyday, betting is a slow grind.

If you get to the final leg
do what me and @BucciMane did early this year with Oklahoma and Seahawks games
Just hedge and bet the other side. You guarantee yourself a profit.
If you got a $5 parlay to win $180 bux just throw $180 on the other side. You guaranteed to be up $180 either way.
Sometimes you might even middle the bet and win both sides.
Like tonight I had sizers +6 on a parlay last leg. Waited a bit on live bet and took Lakers +14.5.
Now Im guaranteed to win both bets and lakers on the come back so I might actually win both hopefully
But the point is you dont have to lose out on potential profit if you hedge that last leg. There is no reason to let a profit fly out the window like that.

what are ya'll's preferred ways of betting? as in, do you prefer taking a bunch of bets throughout the day? parlays?, spread/vs money line, etc., etc.
I've tried about every "system" or "strategy" you can possibly imagine over the last ten years or so as an occasional bettor, and I'll tell you what seems to work the best for me is just going with your gut and keeping it simple. one or two SPREAD bets per day. not that I'm some expert by any means, but I've found that if you study all of the lines throughout each day and narrow it down to the best 3 or 4 and then going with 1 or 2 of those, you're odds of winning go up dramatically.
now of course to really make CONSISTENT money you're gonna have to have a decent bankroll (at least $500-$1,000 per bet), but if you can stay around that 60% winning percentage (which is much easier to do when narrowing it down to 1 or 2 daily bets), the possibilities are endless depending on your bankroll. have spent tons of time in the past taking 10-15 bets per day, parlays, etc.. and all that's fun and can pay off at times, but IMO the consistent money is trusting your gut and narrowing it down to 1 or 2 per day.
