i disagree. you aint saying anything but i agree with picking your spots

the NBA is a crapshoot day in day out period. if you win, its literally a lottery

you have players announcing theyre sitting minutes before tip off
you have days where the best NBA players will go 7 for 20
times where star players sit out and still win

i mean look at Atlanta and Minnesota today

there is no rhyme or reason, or strategy to the NBA. dont act like there is lol. its pure luck.
Orlando and Brooklyn are not even that good themselves. Pick them to win ANY game is a huge gamble, regardless of the other team's health.

It's not luck at all. One bum ass team lost to another bum ass team.

You want to talk about bum ass teams? Then why did a hachimura and Beal less wizards team beat the Heat tonight?

It's a crapshoot...period.

Betting on the NBA is playing mine sweeper. You can say that for all sports...but none more than basketball

a lot of the best teams against the spread are basically .500

I wonder what the standard deviation of the points is against the spread in wins and losses is as well. Probably high as hell

I take OKC a lot solely because of Chris Paul. A seasoned point guard who makes great decisions down the stretch and keeps his team in the game, regardless if their opponent is better.

Great point about Chris Paul.

A team like the Knicks would probably be a playoff team with him. The fact that they are +.500 vs the spread shocked the hell out of me, although they have been playing better this past month. I havent paid attention to their lines recently, but im quite sure vegas has taken note.

They have. The Knicks' lines have dropped dramatically from double-digits to range of 4-6 pt underdogs.....to lure more people into betting against them.

I hear stories like this ALL the time at the book:

"It's just the Knicks. The Nuggets will blow them out, fam"

3 hours later: "Man, I had a 4 team parlay and only needed 1 more team to win. Those sorry ass Nuggets let the Knicks come back from a 16 point lead and the Nuggets ended up winning by 2"
:mindblown:

Starting to think Clemson covers and that it will be a one possession game

LSU has played incredibly but the Oklahoma team they blew out we all knew sucked anyway. Less athletic, one dimensional team on offense with injuries on defense.

LSU has had close games throughout the season. Auburn, Alabama, Texas, all close games. Clemson has the moreExperienced, arguably better coach and more experienced team. Plus a chip on their shoulder for what it is worth.

I jumped on Georgia Tech @ +11 for some quick early cash.

They're 6-6, but that's mainly because their pg, Jose Alvarado was out as a result of an ankle injury. He's back and they've been playing a whole lot better.

They also tend to slow it down and ugly it up.
