Though it's 8 days away, I believe the Chiefs/Lions game on Thursday next week is gonna be fireworks.
They are gonna go way over that 54 point total.
Furthermore, the league would prefer to start the season with a bang, so expect the refs to be offense-friendly.
I may bump it up to 58-61 for plus money.
Come Friday morning, people are going to be talking about how crazy the game was.

My fear for that bet would be that in week 1 a lot of teams come out rusty as hell after barely playing together in preseason. Last year only four teams put up over 30 in week 1. Lions and Chiefs were two of them though so you could be on to something.

I wish wasn't so impatient or I'd jump on the odds of some of these season long plays. I see one for Mahomes to have 325+ yards in 8 regular season games at +200. He did it 8 times in the last 12 games last year after a slow start getting adjusted to not having Tyreek. This year shouldn't be as much of an adjustment even though they lost Juju. Plus I think the WR room is better.

Only time I’ve bet on futures it was MVP the last two years. Got Mahomes and Rodgers at great odds two years ago and then Mahomes with good odds last year mid season.
