Hit my 1st ever pricing mistake bet yesterday.
Was checking my phone for props while at the MGM sportsbook yesterday and saw the weirdest shyt ever, some nikka I never heard of (I'm a casual admidedtly) was slated for +/- 11.5 assists for Denver.
Knowing Jokic was their de facto PG, and after checking the players game log, I realized it was either a pricing mistake or I was reading it wrong and was about to fukk myself over.
I asked these 3 guys next to me to verify what I saw and their eyes lit up like wolves. We weren't sure what the protocol was when the casino ultimately realizes their fukkup, till one of the guys says "these tickets are legally binding" after calling his dad.
Only problem now was I had only $20 dollars in my pocket. I Ran to the ATM on the other side of the building came back and dropped $300. 2 of the other 3 guys had to run to their room to get their money, but told me I'm selling myself short not doing the full $1000.
Realizing he was right, I waited with him as he placed his bet before going back to the ATM, and saw the price was down to +/- 10.5 assists.
Knowing the gravy train was soon bout to end I ran for my life back to that ATM and when I got back to the counter the other 2 guys were placing their bets only to find out the bet was taken down.
Still made off with 300, but it was bittersweet knowing, I could've hit that casino back harder for all their bullshyt over the years (mismatch pricing from what's on their board, paying me late; not allowing me to re-flip the money before the next slate of games, etc.. )
Here was the mistake
