Slightly off-topic, and I don't want to make an entire thread about it, but have any of you been to South Africa? One of my friends that I went to Australia with back in December 2017 wants to go, but I know there are a handful of cities down there with a significantly high murder rate and crime rate. Is it worth going down, and how dangerous are some of those cities?.

In 2013, i went to Zimbabwe. Very touristy and safe for the most part. Very beautiful country.
