It's...uh an interesting trade?

Don't know how exactly Outlaw fits into our plans. Don't know much about Acy either (apparently he's gonna be S&T bait for the next offseason)

Knew Ellington would be a goner with too many 2-guards/SFs at our disposal. Didn't wanna see Tyler traded but I guess Zen Master don't see him as more than a short term solution (this year).

EDIT: best case scenario, both Outlaw and Acy have non-guaranteed deals and we can waive both of them and make room for GreekFreak2 and Cleanthony.

I hope yall will never have to watch Travis Outlaw play a minute on the court :wow:

How is he still in the league, he's trash. Still can't believe we signed him to that deal, and then the Kings paid him too :snoop:

But yea y'all better hope Phil waives him, he's a black hole out there.

Old Brooklyn
Phil better waive both of them.
Why?

Doesn't it fit into your "tank season" narrative. :birdman:

The Sacramento Kings traded two end-of-the-bench guys to the New York Knicks for two other end-of-the-bench guys and a draft pick consideration.

In the grand scheme, it’s a sideways move. Very little impact. This won’t prevent the Kings from making the playoffs, nor will it propel them there.

But it’s still OK to dislike this trade. Because losing Quincy Acy stinks.

Acy was a steal, a throw-in from the Rudy Gay trade that turned out to have some legitimate worth. After a half-season of proving his value with hardwork, Acy showed off some of his improved talent on both ends this summer. His passion, effort and new-found offense helped the Kings win it all in Vegas.

It looks like we got a high energy guy to do some dirty work.

i feel like quincy acy put in work against us last season. definitely remember that name. i was hoping for them to go after ivan johnson and i feel like dudes game is kinda like his. scrappy, garbage man type. we need that. good pick up while losing an inconsequential guard. REALLY hate losing tyler though.
