I actually liked Shannon Brown's presence. He knew the triangle and could be an asset during practices...

Plus...if used correctly, is is a monster in 2k:whew:

I figure, we are going to give Metta that spot or resign Shannon near the beginning of the season.

But I am a little :lupe: because small moves like waivers can mean we're trying to make bigger moves.

I dont' know if I want Phil to be more active or to just let the team rock...

I disagree with much of what this guy said:

Iman Shumpert More Valuable To New York Knicks Than Tim Hardaway Jr.

He is everything a rebuilding team would want in terms of defensive IQ, effort and athleticism. Shumpert brought excitement and hope to Knicks fans during the last few months of the dismal 2013-14 season with a number of steals and pressure defense. His athleticism is among the best in the league, perhaps at the same level of Derrick Rose (when healthy), Russell Westbrook (when healthy) and many other high end athletic players, but his ability to guard any PG/SG/SF in the league is what makes him special. On a team so flawed in terms of defensive efforts, Shumpert managed to hold on to key opposing players and keep the Knicks ahead during close wins — or prevent them from further embarrassment during losses. He works so hard that it seems his offseason is as busy as his playing days. He should be the one deemed untouchable during trade talks.

One could argue that Shumpert has not developed into a great scorer yet, but there’s always time for him to lock himself in the gym and shoot 500 shots everyday to improve his marksmanship and really “learn how to shoot” (something that Hardaway Jr. already has pretty well figured out). For me it’s clear that improving his shot is a much easier task than teaching Hardaway Jr. how to be a defensive force. He is indeed young, but so far he has not shown any signs of being the perimeter defender needed in the triangle system.

Shump, J.R., Larkin & a future 1st round pick for Love >>>>>> Wiggins & trash Cavs for Love.

He's ours, brehs. Phillip da gawd.

I don't know the contracts/numbers so not sure if it's really possible. But I'm pretty sure that deal's WAY more attractive. Timberwolves aren't going to ACCOMODATE Love knowing he WANTS out, and pair him with Lebron. One could argue that Wiggins would be more value/potential, but it's a no brainer for real. And one could argue that we shouldn't fukk off our picks & we need Shump & Larkin's D, but Love makes us INSTANT contenders, if smart moves, getting Phil and Fisher & resigning Melo, with a budding THJR doesn't already. And it's actually a smart trade for the Knicks, regardless of the pick, the risk is outweighed by the potential (and very plausible) reward. Especially with Love saying he'd like to play in NY. You think Phil ain't jump on that, knowing Minnesota has all the leverage in the deal?

Don't know if this was addressed a few pages back or not, but it got me :lupe: right now brehs :ahh:IMO, even though Brown HAD to be released, it just makes sense.

Calderon, THJR, Melo, Love, Stat/Cole lineup?

:banderas:

shyt'll be the steal of the century if it goes down like this, brehs...:blessed:

I hope you're trolling with that trade scenario.

Shump's defense is the most overrated thing I can remember. He's not the guy people think he is

Go away for a day, and see Melo's a futbol player now, and Shump is more valuable than Timmy's boy:huhldup:
