The clip posted has a old school flow to it. Slick Rick Children Story-ish. And isn't the typical messaging you get in mainstream rap (megan, latto, etc), it's leans more positive/cerebral.How and why is this being labeled "Harriet Tubman" music?
And why is a Haitian woman so comfortable in saying this?
Young rappers who go that lane (and do it well) tend to get more artsy 'respect' than being considered 'hot'.
Rapsody & Joey Badazz as examples.
This isn't to say they aren't actually legitimately dope.......but in the case of Rapsody, he old school style & 'purity' inflates how her actual skill is viewed.
