Make up can clog your pores. But you can really attribute women's skin to hormones. Female hormones change/fluctuate multiple times in a month and go through drastic overhauls (puberty, pregnancy, menopause) in a life time. Hormones really affect re skin. Men don't have as many drastic changes in their levels. Plus men aren't under scrutiny like women. A discolored male face is seen as rugged, ruddy, or is masked by facial hair. If men started wearing concealer you'd probably build a preference for the smoother, even toned face.
