The story begins with a mid 30s lawyer Anita Jackson who is sick of men and the drama they bring decides to join a run club to take her mind off of her last failed relationship. During her first day there she meets Devon an attractive Doctor whom she begins to vibe with. Devon convinces her to go out with him. Fast forward a year later her and Devon marry but he begins acting strange. Leaving the house at night and demeaning her publicly. One day she finds on Devons laptop pictures of him and another family. She confronts him about this after he returns from a night with his boys and Devon snaps and slaps her and leaves. The pieces of the puzzle unraveling Anita realized the man she married has another family and he was using her savings to fund his family's life and he wasn't actually even a doctor!Atlanta Run Club sounds like a Tyler Perry movie in the making
