SMF and LAX to VA and NC
You combined LA and Riverside, right? Because LA metro is only about 800k.

*edit* yeah I see you did the same for some others.

I tried to go with what is commonly thought of as a metro. Like most people don't consider Riverside/SB as a separate metropolitan region; most people consider it the IE region of Greater LA...

Increasingly I finding most people don't view SA and Atx as separate metropolitan areas, and people have long ceased, generally speaking, viewing DC and Bmore as different metropolises. Different cities for sure but they are viewed as the same metropolis by consensus...

Plus, writing it out like that, I think gives a better representation of the large clusters of black people in this country. Regardless of whether one sees them separate or the same, LA/IE, AustinTonio, DMV are all geographically and culturally interlocked, they are each continuous urban clusters and I think in the context of talking about where black people live, we should recognize that we are living in these specific regions/metropolises, even if not the same city...

I thought about combing Cincinnati and Dayton, and Tampa and Orlando, but I dont get the sense people view those areas as synonymous as the ones I did combine...

These are always weird unless you know the area.

you have to know the actual city limits vs neighborhoods

Well that's why there's a city and a metro list!

NY is more than 16 percent Black :comeon: are you just making numbers up and why are you combining Northern NJ with NYC :unimpressed: that right there skews the percentages plus Northern NJ has nothing to do with New York City.

NYC on its own is around ,23-24% Black

This is the metro thread, and you saw the city thread. NYC is 22% black, and Greater New York, which includes NNJ, is 16% black...

Good stuff OP

No :mjpls: to the other parts of the DMV but we need one just for PG County to highlight the excellence. There are 1 million people here in the county.

What you talking about, many Black Folks in Moco, and many more are moving there . Cause they actually give a fukk about their residence.

Black folks better stop believing this nonsense that PG is some Black Heaven. When that County is just bullshyt on so many levels.
