Book is right based purely on the group composition, MEM was a group of stars that you, at one point, never would have expected to see in the same company, much less the same group. What's more, the core group actually had some chemistry while also maintaining their individuality because they were so well established. They also had some of the funniest segments I've ever seen.

It all falls apart on the creative side though because they lacked direction and a clear story outside the fact they were stars. There was no overarching plotline so eventually it just meandered into a ditch because even that much charisma can only carry you so far without writing.

The Bloodline is the inverse and because it's been bare bones in star power by comparison, it's been able to pull off these angles.

MEM is mostly remembered for that Steiner/Joe fued and taking over the show for one night (which is classic). Other than that the angle was terrible.

Bloodline has reinvigorated a whole company and place their top star in the position he was meant for, pause.

Not even comparable imo.

The original Steiner/Joe feud was long before that and much better.

Aside from the “He’s Fat” interview I don’t even really remember much about them feuding or them having a match then.

They fought when Joe had his gimmick change and it ended in a DQ. I remember because he was trying to slice Steiners head off every week and I it was the dumbest shyt ever.

Worst thing Bloodline ever did wa have a Tribal War match but it being a regular ass match.

There were highs and lows but I thought Sting's heel turn was surprisingly logical and the MEM power struggle between him and Angle was good stuff.

Shyt got sidetracked with the random Foley title run, but they got back on track with AJ going over Sting in the end so :ehh:

The Bloodline has been very predictable...Jey and Jimmy became slaves after the initial Reigns feuds..Sami was always turning face...drawn out...then they did a Jimmy turn..he went back..lol. When Roman was gonna lose, debut Solo...pretty annoying story that jumped the shark and protects a lazy top star who don't work as much as he should.

If Road Dogg says something positive about another company, it's another sign of the Apocalypse.
