Just finished reading his autobiography, I'll post cliffs if anyone wants them but he goes into the years between his retirement from playing overseas and his time in the Big 3, needless to say he and his family were in a dark place but thankfully they've recovered since.
He's as principled and consistently on code as it gets, which is extremely refreshing considering that you can't say the same except for a few exceptions of athletes now
