"That nikka" in '95?

With that high-pitched slow voice and tryin' to be a tough guy?

:rudy: I gotta say Mase is one of the few artists that were actually better as a radio-friendly rapper with the occasional hard record than the other way around. Actually, might be the only one.

When Pac was alive I never heard of Ma$e so I can't give you 96. Maybe in NYC he was known.

not from nyc.

and surely you knew him in '96. that 112 remix dropped right around when pac died(maybe right afterwards).

watching the one on common's the light.

:deadmanny: @ erykah badu saying that "it's a known fact that every man I dated either has to carry a man purse or wear crochet shirts. common chose crochet shirts"

:laff:

yo!!!!!

theres a d.o.c. thread where he admits that badu had him walking around looking all crazy.

Yeah but you're a hipster tho'... :umad:

Don't get me wrong, I could do without certain joints he made in his shiny suit era... but Mase's pre-Bad Boy sh*t is just a lotta aiiight shyt. Especially them shyts where he's rhymin' all loud and aggressive with that voice :mjlol: And when it came to COC, he was miles behind Cam and leagues behind L.

He did kill on nikkaz Done Started Something and McGruff's Uptown Connect tho' :obama: For the most part tho', dude was off the radar.
