Someone on his team gotta get in his ear. The reality is the most popular/successul basketball players of the 80s 90s, 2000s and 2010s, nobody from his era is even close to their levels

Facts, but there aren't a lot of OGs around anymore. I was just watching a clip of KG and Piru Paul discussing how the OGs like Gary Payton and other taught him how to and not to move in certain cities, Allstars games, etc. They also stated teams are moving on from Vets way too fast.

Most players and fans dont realize Magic and Bird turned these well off owners into Billionaires. The NBA was like the WNBA in the until Magic got there. Pretty sure in return they helped in all of his endeavors. Magic go so much power and influence in the NBA and LA. Young boy better chill for real.

We always were taught to respect our elders not the other way around. Thinking so is fukking insane. Magic Johnson is a 65 year old black man from Michigan who grew up during the civil rights era. To expect him to adhere to someone who doesn't even know what a VCR is, is insans.

When you were younger you were told to always address your elders as Mr. Mrs. , Sir, Ma'am etc.... as a sign of respect. It wasnt the other way around. Give credit to those who come before that way when you're the OG the same respect and deference is given upon you
Why are you being obtuse over this matter? Why waste my time with this shyt? Why fake it in front of these folks just for some cheap daps?

Ant's retaliating to what's been said about him. He feels disrespected that all his blood, sweat and tears is being downplayed because the conditions aren't tough enough. We can argue about the merits (or lack thereof) around what exactly he said, but all that really matters here is why he said it. He said it because old heads are disrespectful. Point. Blank. Period. Ant is only giving out the same energy that has been thrown his way.

Miss me with all this empty ass "we're always taught to respect out elders" bullshyt.

The problem is OGs don't give newer/current players respect because they're always talking about how they don't measure up to the past.

Meanwhile, only last week in a thread where Michael Cooper [unsolicitedly] shytted on Luka, saying he'd cut him if he wasn't a scorer -
Talk yo shyt Coop.
Bu-bu-but give credit to those who've come before you and the same respect is given upon you.

:unimpressed:

Clown shyt.

Edwards likes to talk trash but he doesn't have significant awards to back up his claims, which is what Magic is saying. If you want to call other eras unskilled, show me what you have won.

Same thing applies to some of the old retired players who have never won shyt talmbout they could score crazy amount of points in this era, which is false.

Wolves are going to have a challenging season. Outside of this beef with the media and former NBA players.....once they beat the defending champs Denver Nuggets, the rest of NBA started to look at Timberwolves more serious. You saw the exact next series where Edwards tried saying some slick comments about defending Kyrie and Kyrie gave him his best version since 2016/2017 lol.

You do not even watch games to have seen mitch.

Real talk.

just like you nikkaz flaug'n on watching mike.

What satellite galaxy?
did you see mitch on to know tho?

Till you post a galaxy.
That you yourself watched mitch richmond on.
You all cap like usual.

Art Barr .
Mitch Richmond's not doing shyt with Ant's T'Wolves team.

Last season was their first real playoff run as a group, and Mitch was not even remotely on the level where he was good enough to iron out all their struggles, which they would've needed to in order to win. Mitch didn't win shyt during his day, so how the hell was he supposed to help KAT's scaredy ass get over his inhibitions? Mitch wasn't a high-level playmaker, so how the hell was he supposed to generate offense for a team who struggled to create their own?

Not even MJ, himself, would've won with that T'Wolves team last season.
Quoted and put in bold for emphasis.

Now which galaxy did you see this version of Mitch, because here on Planet Earth, in the Milky Way galaxy, he was not that player.

That Minny squad wasn't ready to win last season. It's as simple as that. They weren't battle-tested, they didn't have the appropriate guard and wing depth and their #2 option is too damn volatile to really be leaned on for a championship-run, especially if you don't have a high-level playmaker to keep him in rhythm. Replacing Ant with Mitch isn't going to fix their structural and personnel issues, even if you want to argue that Mitch is better than him (which at the same age, he wasn't).

Man fukk MITCH RICHMOND, set my Wizkids back 20yrs. Worst trade in NBA History.
Imagine Trading Zion for Bradley Beal? That's basically what we did except Webber actually accomplished something in this league vs All time Great Hall of Famers :damn:

Are fukking serious, kareem won 5 mvps or 6 (magic rookie year) without magic, won a championship without magic not the other way around, but Kareem benefited more from magic:why:

Make it make sense, yall post shyt just to post....
He still only had 1 ring and ended up with 6. He was also 32 when Magic walked in the building. I would say Kareem did benefit more but it is funny when cats pretend Magic didn't select his destination.

Magic and Kareem were both alpha's on their team up until 86/87. Only when Kareem got old and reached his 40s, while Magic was in his peak years winning mvp's, it became obvious who's team it was.

And even then, once he retired, no bytchass vlade divac or no defensive ass Sam Perkins was able to replace 40 yr old Kareem's presence.

Both have incredible accomplishments. Both won NCAA championship. Kareem being likely the greatest college player of all time. Magic in his rookie year helped them win the finals when Kareem got injured for the decisive game 6. And even that game 6, folks forgetting Jamaal Wilkes scored 37 too. It's a team sport.
And then Kareem won finals MVP at the age of 38 to show everyone that he's THAT good. Still the oldest finals MVP up to this day,

From 1986-1987 season, those last two championships, is when you can clearly see that the gap between Kareem and Magic got too big.

I disagree with none of this, but it also doesn't disprove what I said.
