i do agree with posts in here that klutch got this team hostage BUT

that shyt was like a side hustle/part time job for magic. you can't be no part time president/GM when every other team got full time ones that are always focused on nothing but that.

It definitely was a side hustle that's why when he got mad about not firing Luke Walton and Pelinka sidetalking he abruptly left...but I may be a little bias but I thought Magic did a good job he just left too early to see results. He was looking to get shooters and tough defenders around lebron with limited cap space in 18-19 and was trying to get the best Anthony Davis deal possible even though it made a lot of noise that trade deadline. I think if he stays they still win the bubble chip that next year and he would've built the team better going forward. Even though he was looking to leave by 2020 anyway.
