Magic wouldn’t be good enough defensively to be a G.O.A.T. PF.

And :mjlol: at gassing his scoring talking about he could average 30 smdh

AGAIN

24 POINTS PER GAME ON 16 SHOT ATTEMPTS

DO THE MATH

Magic is my favorite player, but Kareem is the most effective- best player ever( more than Jordan or anybody, there's a reason the sky hook has never been replicated)

Idk if y'all get, magics defense doesn't compare to Jordan or Kareem, or Kobe but Magic got it !!

His game just made sense, even though his stats don't compare to Jordan or Kareem, his game is what basketball is about!! passing, being clutch, Jordan & Kareem represent the best of scoring, Magic, other point guards like Stockton, Payton, Kidd represent the best of passing, which is making the best plays overall which is the most truly best part of basketball, almost soccer in sense...

What I'm trying to say is magic is special, game without defense was of the highest level, WITHOUT defense....

He wasn't strong/athletic enough to bully inside like Malone could and his defense sucked compared to what you'd want from the PF position.

Playing Magic at PF situationally isn't a bad idea at all, and if he did it full-time he would have been an excellent player at the position, but calling him the GOAT there is ridiculous.

Magic would've gotten lit up on defense........Battling in the post every night with Malone, Kersey, Thorpe, Barkley, Chambers,etc...wouldve taken its toll on Magic's body and hurt his efficiency on offense.

Nah, breh, Magic literally could've done whatever he wanted on the court. I really don't think people understand how skilled and good he actually was. If Magic had come after Michael, instead of the reverse, Nike and the rest would've had Magic solidified as the #1 player of all time.

He definitely wouldn't be a great defender at the PF spot, but he wasn't a great defender at the PG spot and he's far and away considered the GOAT point guard. He would be at least as good of a defender as Charles Barkley, and before Duncan, plenty of people argued Chuck was the GOAT power forward. Magic's offense would have been so far ahead of the other PFs, he'd be at least in the argument. He'd be a rich man's Chris Webber at the very least.

Magic would have been a beast no matter what position he played. At point shooting guard and small forward he would have been the bigger player against whoever was guarding him. And at power forward he would have been to quick and skillful for whatever brute back then would have tried to defend him.

There is no Magic if he plays PF.

Leading the break, making ridiculous no look passes, that's Showtime. If he's at PF, people would wonder what's the nickname about. I'm sure he'd do good at PF, but his impact and draw that propelled him to Top 5 wouldn't be there as a PF. His PG play inspired so many fans. You wouldn't see that creativity at PF.
