It's crazy. It's too obvious now how most tech companies are abusing the H1B program to fill less specialized roles and to displace qualified domestic workers, just to save money. They got too cocky and overplayed their hand.

This is one area where the critics of the system have a valid point. Very strict restrictions need to be implemented to ensure the program fulfills its intended purpose. It shouldn't be a tool for wealthy tech elites to exploit in order to suppress wages and maintain control over workers.

I've come to find in my travels as a black accountant is that at the end of the day, most people, even if they are on that diet racist shyt, will still hire the most qualified person because they don't want to fukk up the money.
