I'll make the tweaks I made in the version I'm running now, compress it and provide you guys with a direct download and directions to install it in your extensions manually. I forked his repo(checked out a unique copy on my computer) and it installed as unique extension.

So for the time being you can rock with it and not worry about any of my tweaks getting overwritten by an update, then in a couple months ill make a new announcement when it's on the chrome store and it will have regular updates and maintenance then.

The version you see above was the original one i checked out from the chrome store, then i found where it was stored on my local drive and did some hacks/tweaks(which is never ok if you plan on giving it to other people haha).

After I decide on the name, then i'll submit it to the chrome store and do regular updates with a name structure like this cause I have to give dude his credit:

Also i encourage any feature suggestions; anything you've seen in another chrome extension I could do. So you vet chrome users let me know of any cool things you'd like to see.

Chrome to Phone is great when you just want to send shyt to your phone that your looking at on your PC. I usually do it for maps/directions, or a link to an album I want to download directly on my phone. Just click the button, and it instantly sends the page to your phone.

Google Voice notifies you when you get a text, phone call, all through the internet. It even transcribes voicemails right there for you in the browser. You can reply to texts as well. Comes in handy when I'm around the house and my phone isn't in the same room as me. I have it on my laptop and tablet.

Im going to look into those apis, they would be dope and useful widgets. You're the third person who told me about Chrome to Phone.

UPDATE: Official name will be ChromeMetro(shouts to @newarkhiphop) and official website will be ChromeMetro.me.

ChromeMetro Beta 0.9 Build Log/Initial Modifications:
- Complete overhaul of the UI. The new look is based on Android 4+ and Windows Metro UI style guidlines.
- Option to set ChromeMetro as home page with a different "New Tab" page or leave ChromeMetro as the "New Tab" Page
- Option for Bookmark Bar to docked on the top or bottom of the page.
- Option to dock toolbar on left or right.
- Added toolbar icon to allow for pinning of tab.
- Added option to place Label tiles on grid
- Added toolbar icon with a menu to launch ChromeMetro or ChromeMetro Options page
- Optimized script loading for smoother experience, pages load in with smooth fades and animating transitions. Also added a loading indicator if page is loading(sometimes scripts hang for a second, wanted people to know ChromeMetro is just processing info)

Saw this thread and thought I would try out Chrome. My biggest gripe is that there is a sign in option but no sign out option. I was thinking when I saw the sign in option that all my bookmarks, history,extensions,etc would only be accessible if I'm signed in. And then when I log out, it would go back to the default settings, a clean slate basically. Otherwise dope, and I look forward to Badvillians extension.

Update...sorry guys Hurricane Sandy caused a lot of disruptions for me, I was the only one at my agency not in ny at the time so I got shifted all the work so the company wouldn't fall behind.
