yeah I always give them the benefit of the doubt...but folks would pay serious moola for a fully updated madden game

just keep it trill with us....if it takes 2 yrs to fully update the defensive line scheme/physics let us know it'll take 2yrs

If every year we could look forward to measurable improvements in the physics we'd be fukkn happy. shyt they could bring the graphics back to 05, if I know at the snap of the ball I can rush the a gap, slap down the guards hands, dip my shoulders and hit the qb, I'd be fukkn GEEKED

If they looked at every position as a 1 on 1 fighting game, I'd pay top dollar on that bytch. Imagine if they brought SF style parrying to the lineman scheme. Or WR/CB animations were the equivalent to doing a crossover and dribbling down the lane.

The only reason ppl bytch so much is cause we feel we're being ignored.

I completely agree. If EA had've gone into E3 this year, showed the Infinity Collision Engine, gave a release date and said that they would charge us $25 next year for a roster update and new Madden Moments while they worked hard on Madden 15, loyal fans would have been satisfied. I mean we obviously will buy Madden no matter what type of product they put out.

Play APF2k8 and your assessment will change. They don't have to have all players animate differently just the majority of skilled players i.e. QB, WR, RB, LB, CB & some safeties.

I did play that game to death and I appreciated the presentation (and the price), but it never felt as good as that year's Madden. Let be real, 2k Sports focused on the little details because they were never able to get the basic smoothness and flow of the game right. Madden's gameplay style is what I and most people know and love, EA sets the industry standard when it come to football. 2K8 always felt foreign to me.

Competition breeds innovation tho

I will not speak in absolutes when something as subjective as which plays better as you see, its in the eye of the beholder. You can have your best argument.

Things I do know as a fact in pertaining to the two games. APF 2K8 Tiered Play calling systems is far superiors to Madden. 2k8 system is actually what colleges and NFL uses to call Defensive plays. You call your line stunt/twist/gaps ect... then you call your package. Madden is just pick a play.

Second and More importantly the ability to change assigments within a second with their 2 click systems after you call the play is unrivaled. Watch these Videos from a dedicated Madden fan begging EA to go this route.

Total Control Defense Parts 1 - 3

In the 3rd video he will show you how fast you can change defensive assigments.

Running Comparison APF 2K8 vs Madden 10 a game that's 2 years older

And equally on Offense APF 2K8 offensive play call in is superior, with the ability to change audibles on the fly for every play you call.
