I think he's like Ken said, a schemer. He'll tell you anything to get on your good side to climb the ladder. He already had Joan save his job. Now Pete will look out for him.

which i think is actually smart. its already paid off with joan. somewhere down the line hes going to need petes help/influence. (after all he is a partner) but i think something is being set up where benson is going to end up helping don. im not sure how yet but i can almost picture it.

every time Megan talked the sirens got louder

Don can't care about her anymore if he wanted to

NYC has this insane energy in the show now too. robberies, violence, scared peggy, weary megan, fires, riots, sirens. it's all constant and it's getting more intense every episode.

Don and Megan will be done by the end of the season by virtue of some insane crime.

I feel that their home being robbed and the sirens drowning out her blah blah blah is foreshadowing something along those lines.

However, every time that I try to psychoanalyze this show's plot or the characters I miss.

Megan got fukked up teeth but something about her is so adorable. She had me at Zou Bisou.

Betty is a piece of ass. Props to Don on hittin that for old times sake.

Joan is my favorite broad on the show though. Always thought she was fine but I started liking her more after they started showing her at home with her man in a normal setting. She's a tough broad at the office and comes across as a bytch, but they do a good job showing the softer side of her. I like when they show her vulnerable like when she had to go to the ER or at those times when her guard is down. That was a good scene with her and Don getting tipsy at the bar.

I couldn't stop laughing at that scene.

But what was sad was how Don looked sitting at the table alone when Betty and her husband were eating breakfast leaving Don with the grill in a tweed jacket.

-i support joan standing up for herself, this season. she's done it in the boardroom, w/ don and now, most importantly w/ roger. she cant depend on who his new girl toy might be.

-his daughter gave him the business too. everybody eventually gets tired of his smarmy act. i know i do.

-im glad peggy & dude broke up. it was painfully obvious and i was hoping the writers would put it to bed sooner than later. now, if they could only do it w/ megan & don.

-really like how ted cuban b'd peggy in that office. he opened that door and smiled at the world. she thought she had a recon plan.

-slim betty continued the season's cycle of shytting on don. she used him for some cock, rolled out and was smoking that cig while he was curled up in the corner. even before she let him hit again, she was like "you sure you dont just want to hold me.......................you lying piece of shyt?"

Seriously though, what the hell is Bob Benson's job title? What exactly does he do?. He lied to Peter cause he had told Ken earlier in the season that he sent the food to the funeral because when his father died any gesture was a comfort.

Poor Peggy caught many L in this episode. Peggy embarrassed the hell out of herself at the end there, didn't she? Did love the final shot of her all washed out standing adanonded between the two closed doors.....just

Betty gave Don the whole Draper treatment! Woo 'em, wow them in bed -- and then unceremoniously dump 'em to go back to the lawfully wedded.

He works under Ken. When they were talking about firing him Joan stated that since Ken was in Detroit for business Bob could handle his stuff here.

Betty is the queen of making herself look innocent while getting smutted out. Leaving that door open then telling Don "you sure we should be doing this??" Made me want to pull out the Roger "stop being demure!!! You're already in my bed!!" Line.

Goes to show how important it was for women to feel like they're still upholding some sort of standards back in the day.
