Is it just me or does it seem like the writers/producers/whoever had their first hallucinogenic trip a couple of seasons back and they've obsessed over in a bunch of episodes. This is like 2 drug trips and a fevered hallucination dream.

It's the changing culture. Mid 60's early 70's that's what people were on.

This show is doing what The Wire, Sopranos and Breaking Bad failed to do...Drastically improving in its later seasons...If you go back and watch seasons 1-3 its ridiculous how much better seasons 4-6 have been...It's rare for writing and story lines to improve so much later in a series.. Only 1 1/2 seasons left and so far season 6 has been some of the best TV in recent memory...

I agree on seasons 4 and 6

honestly I wasnt feeling season 5 as much though

but this season feels like Mad Men is trying to make its case for the GOAT spot .... season 6 has been flawless

yea the burglar was convincing except the classic burglar line of "who is else here ?" asked multiple times

as soon as someone says that dont matter how convincing they are they are there to rob you

The crazy thing is the writing was good from the start and the steady improvements don't seem forced, extra extreme, or out of character in attempts to top themselves.

I don't think I've seen a show with this much character development pour into its characters..ever
