Between you, @Slystallion and @Love Sosa I'm not surprised as J. Cole said, "You hated before you listened to it, I already forgave you." That is exactly what you all did here. Like what in the world are you guys and @blackslash hating on?

:snoop:

If you're going to address me in the thread at least pay attention to what I've actually said please.

"I already thought of him as being good peoples and I figured him "punking out" was the case (in regards to the kendrick situation), doesn't change the fact that the shyt was ghei and left the door open for people to question his zeal for this MC shyt."

That's not hate, a lack of understanding of his position or his clarification of the events. I'm talking about the affect his apologies and white guilt trips had on his public perception. How that made him look and how he really is are two different things.

He knows this, which is why he took the opportunity to say "hey i'm competitive, I just got scared in a new situation and became unnecessarily apologetic"....I get that...hell I been got it before I heard him say it, everything else was jokes.

If you wanna address sly or any of these other nikkas for actual hate quoote them, not me.

sure he thinks gkmc should have won (he said it months before the grammy) but the only reason why he texted him is because everybody (artists, producers, fans, media) was talking about how kendrick got robbed. He only texted him to show that he was a good guy.

Honestly this was kind of boring and put me to sleep. I'll try to listen to it again later. Why are people making such a big deal about this like its some groundbreaking interview. Since when did Macklemore become the spokesman for white people?

I'm listening to the interview and I'm like :ld:

Only half way through though, but when he talked about if Maclemore woulda made I love myself instead of Kendrick, would top 40 had played it more. Makes you go :word:

This was a great interview regardless of how you feel about Mackelmore. IMO he came off honest as hell. I wish more white people would have these type of conversations when it comes to advantages they receive in society, business, and opportunities.

do not like dudes music that much, and it is difficult to tell how sincere he is, but you have to dap macklemore on how well he is playing this whole situation. and like i said at the time, the way iggy is playing this is the exact opposite. iggy could calm the waters significantly if she just had some humbleness. im not saying she would convince everyone, but she would chill the situation and pacify the zeal in her attackers.

initially, she probably held the edge on azealia in terms of where the public sympathy was, most just saw azealia as an annoying hothead who was being a hater, which she is anyway. iggys actions though got azealia banks looking like raps nat turner out here. all because of how iggy played it. should have been humble. acknowledged her privilege. and support black female artists.

Between you, @Slystallion and @Love Sosa I'm not surprised as J. Cole said, "You hated before you listened to it, I already forgave you." That is exactly what you all did here. Like what in the world are you guys and @blackslash hating on? People get mad because of white privilege and Macklemore acknowledges said privilege while saying he believed he dropped a dope project, but from a pure "hip hop" stand point he thinks Kendrick should have won. He said he made a great album and wanted to/felt he should have won best new artist, best song, etc., but it felt wrong that he won every single hip hop category. The guy cannot win if people like you will take this angle and he and Rosenberg called out exactly what you guys would say right there in the interview. "I'm not appeasing black people, I am just stating the truth." In the same interview he said he loves the competitive aspects of hip hop after Ebro said if he did a BET cypher he would get "no sold" and said he'd love to go win over a crowd like that because of the emcee in him. But whatever, you fellas stay blessed.

Sidenote SunZoo: Mack, Ebro and Rosenberg spoke on every single thing I ever told you about Eminem that you tried your hardest to deny on here or claimed was improbable (specifically the crowd of white people who say they hate rap but love Eminem).
I don't know how many times I have to repeatedly say that I am not even talking about the grammy shyt specifically.

He don't seem genuine at all to me. He's saying all the things he's supposed to say but it just feels like empty rhetoric. I'm not getting Tim Wise vibes from him.

Nah that was annoying. "White" guilt in general is annoying. fukk that apologetic shyt, it's one of the reasons people question his authenticity.

^If he was gonna show love to kendrick he should have done it like that.

damn its my first time seeing this:wow:
