Obviously they are, I already highlighted that, I explained why they were.
:what:
The character IS black, I'm not going to dress like kratos and miss the white paint, I don't give a shyt who has a problem with it. You probably don't have a problem with it because you have a father, but a lot of lames were crying about it. When there is no way they could have thought she was mocking the race. Stop making the race look soft with tears, there's a time and place, and that wasn't one. Sterling on the other hand.......

He could very well have, although he was acting and mocking, whereas this was some broad wearing a halloween costume of her favorite character. The actress that plays the character didn't even have a problem with it, yet you do.

That's that inherent AA sensitivity though. I think it might stem from fatherlessism. I'm still trying to figure it out.

You agreed that Al Jolson could've viewed himself as a non-racist, not anything about understanding where a person is coming from if they viewed a person who dresses like an ethnic caricature as a possible racist.
Again, Al Jolson could've said the same thing. He was only "dressed as a character" when he did blackface.

The argument wasn't wither or not if you'd do it, but if a person of that particular race finding it offensive is understandable, and yes it is.

Do you see how you contradicted yourself?

I don't know much about this Al Jolson guy, so you're going to have to use another example.

Check my edit.
So you don't know anything about Al Jolson, but I'm assuming you don't know much about Julienne Hough either seeing as you couldn't remember her name, yet you know enough about her to say she isn't a racist? All because it was her "favorite character" she dressed up as?

Since you both feel like stirring this thread in this direction (I've kept on the subject matter until quoted, for the record) care to give me indications of this Julienne Hough being racist? I would like to see footage or quotes that she hates the black race (definition of racist).

You're de-railing my point.
You said you don't understand how it's plausible (key-word:plausible) for a person to believe that if another person dresses like an ethnic caricature they might be racist.

And all I'm saying is that it very much is plausible. Is it a definitive example of them being racist? No. But it makes sense for a person to believe they maybe a possible racist for doing so.

Wrong. I said she wasn't. A specific person, and incident. I clearly do think it's plausible if I sworn I stated the jewish costume was a dig and I enjoyed.
