I have a copy of Roses are Red (a red copy, only 87 pressed) which has Mach's first Griselda verse. The Roc Marci joint on there is also a banger (Perfect Plex)

I’m a little surprised neither one of them has heard of Mach
To be fair he wasn’t with Griselda when they made that mainstream push so he isn’t mainstream at all and neither of them seem like the type that is into esoteric east coast lyrical hip hop.

Edit I’m joking btw lol
I dunno where I heard West first, but it was around 2014/15; i think it was either his joint with Sean Price or the one with Vast. I immediately hit Daupe and preordered HWH2. Roses was a preorder as well; I initially thought about ordering two copies, but I wasn’t in true collection mode at the time, as I was buying a ton of whiskey then.

It's cool to see him get exposure like that, but I don't think it will ever matter much to his career, at least as far as we can see. Pray for Haiti seemed like his grand entrance to the spotlight, only for him to immediately go back to dropping 600 dollar ep's right after.

A curated compilation of my favorite Mach songs matches up with anyone's best ever, period. His best material is transcendent.

I've heard enough of him now to understand that he is lyrically one of the best ever. Some of the shyt he does is just mind boggling. Very intelligent dude, creative, prolific, all the adjectives....

That being said, he has so much output it's hard to work through all of it. Can you give me a curated tracklist or your fav projects?

What's crazy is that when I first heard him on shyt with fahim or Griselda I didn't really like it all that much. The flow and delivery were not my cup of tea. Since then his recent shyt has really clicked with me, I don't know if it's the production or having him solo or just my ears finally GETTING it but yeah he's incredible

His flow on SUR LE PONT D'AVIGNON is crazy
