I've had some time with this and I feel confident in saying that this is my favorite hip hop album of the year thus far. It's incredibly tranquil & mellow, which I suppose will put off just as many off as it entices. I love Mac's sound when he's on this wave though, and like someone said earlier in the thread, white boy found his lane. He ran with it here. Not only is the production A1, but the lyrics are dope, too. The second verse on 'Wings'


I like this album more than WMWTSO, which I found to be a great, cohesive project. Much like that tape, this one grabbed me from the intro. It took a lot of will power for me to not loop 'Come Back To Earth' a dozen time during my first listen. This is an album where some songs resonate more with a set of headphones on such as the aforementioned track, and where some songs are more enjoyable in the ride such as 'Jet Fuel.' At the end of the day, this album sounds great period.
