but he wasn't really associated with Wiz like that. He was on the same label from the same city. Besides that, they run in different circles and attract different crowds. If anything, Mac got more respect and more known ever since he started hanging out with Odd Future and TDE because nobody really took him seriously like that til he moved out to LA

As a casual fan of him and wiz I only knew of him as one of wiz crew even if it's not like that....when he first got on it was that fanbase that wiz created that first got into him

Only mac miller has been around ~7/8 years now and hasn't ever been "successful"....seems like quite a waste of resources for a dude who doesn't get radio play and moves about 100-250k per project
